Another talking point has been the nights advertised as "Singers' Night featuring ..." commonly known as Superspots. These nights are available to members who would enjoy the challenge of performing a lengthier spot than time would usually allow. However, there should always be time allowed for all singers to have a turn. In the past some superspots have almost taken over the night. Well, this would seem to be unfair to other performers, so we are now suggesting between 20 and 40 minutes (in either one or two "spots") as being reasonable but still allowing plenty of time for others.
As always, please let us know your feelings on these (and any other)
issues, either by writing in the Green Book, or contacting the committee
directly.
